Free Lunch & Breakfast Pickup

Dearborn Public Schools is offering free pickup lunch and breakfast for students while school is closed for the mandatory shut down over the next three weeks. Families will be able to stop by any one of six locations to pick up a bag with both breakfast and lunch for each child in the family. Pickups will run daily from 10 a.m. to noon starting March 17, 2020 and running until April 3rd, 2020.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR RAMADAN: Starting Friday, April 24 the pickup time will shift later to noon to 2 p.m. at Fordson High School, Woodworth Middle School, Salina Intermediate and McCollough Elementary. The later schedule will continue through Memorial Day weekend, when Ramadan ends this year.

Locations are as follows:

Fordson, Edsel Ford and Dearborn high schools, McCollough-Unis, Salina Intermediate, and Woodworth Middle School.

Signage at each site will direct parents and students where to enter the building.

Please note, meals are available to anyone age 18 and younger.  Students do not need to be present, and the Dearborn School student does not need to attend at that building.  A designated person can collect meals for multiple children.  Meals for Saturday and Sunday can be picked up on Friday.
Check the Dearborn Public Schools website at www.dearbornschools.org for any updates or changes to the meal program or for other issues regarding the school closure.

Athletic Fields and Playgrounds Are Closed Until Further Notice

All Dearborn Public Schools playgrounds and playfields district-wide are closed. This is a crucial step to increase public safety and social distancing. The closure of DPS  playgrounds and playfields will be in effect until further notice. Please remind children and others about social distancing recommendations.
